My research focuses on Chinese leadership styles, Western leadership constructs and their cultural boundaries, gender and leadership, as well as contextualized organizational behavior in the Chinese context. I attempt to build Chinese theories of leadership/management based on phenomenon-based research, and I believe that research and practice are two roads that shall eventually meet each other.
